It’s a tough question to answer when you may not even know what some of these foods are. The answer, though, is that these are just a few of the organically grown products sold and distributed by Purity Foods, Inc. -- an outfit based in Okemos, Michigan that’s been in business for over 20 years. Purity’s staff includes highly trained professionals who work hard to maintain a reputation for top notch service and excellent products. Vita-Spelt is Purity’s premier line of products made from a grain called Spelt. Spelt has been grown for thousands of years in Europe. In this country, Spelt used to be grown by the hundreds of thousands of acres. Eventually, increased mechanization made it an impractical crop, and gradually it was replaced by its less desirable, but more economically produced cousin, wheat. Now Spelt is making a big comeback in the United States. It has a rich, nutty flavor and a smoother texture, containing a "balanced" protein made up of all eight of the essential amino acids your body requires. Finally, Vita-Spelt products are more easily digested than wheat and most other grains, and consequently place less stress on the body. In fact, the Vita-Spelt whole grain and white Spelt pasta line includes spaghetti, elbows, angel hair, rotini, and lasagne, among others.

Commercial bakers -- probably some of the fussiest people on earth -- are also some of Purity’s most loyal customers. They like working with Spelt because of the extra "flavor margin" it brings to baked goods. Return Policy

Returns and refunds are available up to five days after receiving your shipment. Outbound shipping charges will be assessed. A return authorization by email may be obtained by emailing our customer service center at info@purityfoods.com or call us toll free @ 1-800-99-SPELT. All unauthorized returns will not be given credit. A repackaging/restocking fee of 20% may be charged. Any damages on returns may be charged to your account, up to the full value of the item. All returns should be insured and must be returned the same way they were shipped to you. Any specialty products ordered may not be included in this offer.
